Welcome
The Long Stratton and Pilgrim Team ministry is a team of eight churches in the heart of South Norfolk serving the town of Long Stratton and villages of Aslacton, Bunwell, Carleton Rode, Great Moulton, Tibenham and Wacton. We are a lively team of churches, with at least four services taking place in our churches every Sunday alongside regular weekly activities for young and old alike.

More About Us
The Ministry Team comprises of the Team Vicar - Revd John Madinda, Associate Vicar - two readers supported by a retired Priest and reader, both with permission to officiate.
We embrace a range of worship styles across the churches and seek to share God's love within the communities we serve.
Following a Pastoral Reorganisation in 2023 the following changes will take effect when a new Rector is appointed in Long Stratton:-
- The Pilgrim Benefice will once again become a separate benefice consisting of the parishes of Aslacton, Bunwell, Carleton Rode, Great Moulton, Tibenham and will also be joined by Wacton. This will be under the leadership of Rev. John Madinda.
- A new Benefice of Long Stratton and Tharston will be formed. The churches of Stratton St. Mary and Stratton St. Michael will be joined by St. Mary’s church in Tharston which is currently in the neighbouring Tas Valley Benefice. This will be under the leadership of a new Rector who we hope will be appointed soon.
JUST BELIEVE
In early March 2020, a vision document 'Just Believe ...' was launched for the team, which aims to see 100% growth across the team in the next 18-24 months, growth in discipleship, service and numbers. Drawing on material from Leading your Church into Growth, this vision document is meant to be a tool to enable all the PCCs to develop their own plans for growth, in their own particular context. To find out more, please see the document below.
