The Long Stratton and Pilgrim Team ministry, is a team of 8 churches in the heart of South Norfolk serving the town of Long Stratton and villages of Aslacton, Bunwell, Carleton Rode, Great Moulton, Tibenham and Wacton.
We are a lively team of churches, with at least 4 services taking place in our churches every sunday, alongside regular weekly activities for young and old alike.
The Ministry Team comprises the Team Rector, Revd Heather Wilcox, Team Vicar, Revd John Madinda, Rev'd Gill Osborne an Ordained Local minister, three readers and an authorised worship assistant supported by a retired Priest and reader, both with permission to officate.
We embrace a range of worship styles across the churches and seek to share God's love within the communities we serve.
Throughout the current Coronavirus pandemic, the Ministry Team have been providing daily reflections on the lectionary morning prayer readings. For this weeks daily reflections click here
In early March 2020, a vision document 'Just Believe ...' was launched for the team, which aims to see 100% growth across the team in the next 18-24months, growth in discipleship, service and numbers. Drawing on material from Leading your Church into Growth, this vision document is meant to be a tool to enable all the PCC's to develop their own plans for growth, in their own particular context.
